The Bhatsa River Valley lies at the bottom of the Thal Ghat (Kasara Ghat) and is one of the most fertile and greenest regions in Igatpuri. The valley is known for its wide curves of the Bhatsa River that look like a silver ribbon winding through the dense tropical forests.
The viewpoint overlooking the valley is a favorite for travelers on the Mumbai-Nashik highway. During the rains, the entire valley disappears under a thick blanket of fog, only to reveal hundreds of small mountain streams and a refreshed green landscape as the mist clears.
